Abbagayle Long was born and raised in the Rogue Valley and has been dancing for most her life. Through ballet, figure skating, and dancing, she discovered a passion for performing. She joined the SMHS dance team her freshman year of high school and became the captain her 2nd season on the team. She kept this title until she graduated.
After the previous high school coach resigned, Abbagayle was hired as the SMHS head coach. Her and her assistant coach, Carlee Rokus, have been working hard to bring the dance team back to life at South. Abbagayle’s love for coaching gave her the opportunity to become a hip hop instructor at Panache Dance Co., where she dances with adults and children of all ages.
Abbagayle also works as a shift supervisor at a local Papa Murphy's Pizza, where she serves her community every day with a smile on her face.
Her motivation to perform and serve her community is what brought her to leading Rogue Rhythm Rebels in DWTRVS. Abbagayle has been supporting Sparrow Clubs since 2015 and is honored to be serving as a coach for such an amazing event.
